I don't understand why his parents don't approve though. Just convince them it's a phase and that you'll grow out of it eventually and that it's a hobby for you. It's not hard to fight back. I mean my parents never cared that I make Feds (in a good way, meaning that they know that that's what I like to do), just convince them to let you keep your figures and ring and what not. I mean, obviously they have to know that you won't be doing it forever, so why don't you just convince them to let you keep your stuff.
