So, yeah, am just going to add matches and their ***** rating to this thread. No trend really, just any match I watch, I will rate it and stick it in here. Hopefully this will make it easy for people who might want to watch a good match, to find a good match. Will be fun for me also to have a long list of stuff that I watched.

CZW Cage of Death 15 Thoughts

Just watched 4 matches from this show, overall nothing amazing, but pretty consistent. Opener was the world title match. This was a nice opening to the show, it started really slow and went a good bit over 20 minutes which is pretty damn long for an opener. It started to heat up near the end and I liked how Gulak kept working on the legs of Hero and Hero using his hard strikes. I just felt the ending portion was a bit slot and didnt really have too much pace to it which kinda dropped it for me. Now we have the Scramble match. Now usually this match would not really work in CZW, this kinda match only really works in PWG. But this just worked. It was a spot fest which is why I cannot give it a higher rating but some of the sequences and spots were very nicely done. I would say this was better than the 4 way at Matt Rushmore and one that should be checked out. Everett looked very good here. Then we have Davey vs. Dickinson. This was quite clearly match of the night, apart from the dumb lighting botch the compact zone had I really liked this. Really stiff and hard hitting and really built well to the end. Davey really put over Dickinson to be a major player which is what I dig. Loved the last 3 minutes of this, just awesome. Didn't quite do enough to get into 4 star zone for me but pretty close. Match of the Night. Then we have the Cage of Death. Ok, this was another spot fest and one which you expect. This was above average for a Cage of Death but nothing that blew me away. What saved its rating slightly was that the Crowd were pretty hot, Mondo came back, and the spots were unique.

The Young Bucks vs. Adrenaline Rush - ROH Final Battle - ***3/4 is added to the list.

Regal vs. Cesaro - ***3/4 - ADDED.

This was an awesome match, one of the best NXT matches this year. Storytelling was quite something, the selling was great, was very stiff. Crowd was not 100% into it which held it back from 4 star level but it was still awesome stuff.

NJPW Road to Tokyo Dome

This was a decent show by NJPW, but one of their weaker shows. Show started off ok, opener had a nice closing sequence. undercard was very meh. Nothing too special, some bullshitty finishes for me. Not what I wanted. Tag match with Ibushi was good, nice action, stiff match, Ibushi is awesome, happy with the finish. Main event was awesome and match of the year so far. Great storytelling, nice sequences. Last 2 minutes was AWESOME and I liked the ending with time limit draw, really builds for the PPV. Overall usual fun show, though seen better.

Just updated it with Final Battle. I gave it **** stars. I thought it took a while to get going but they told a good story and overall I thought it was a very good main event.

Overall show was a bit of a let down, but I didnt expect much going in. For their biggest show arguably of the year you do expect a bit more but you get what you get I guess. Bucks vs. A Rush and Main event were good.

I totally agree with this as this match was like they said it would be, a Tag Team Attraction.
