D'Lo Brown got fucked over majorly in WWE. He got saddled with all those shitty gimmicks from 99-01 like that god awful Tiger Ali Singh angle with Chaz and he deserved way better. Like, he wasn't a main event caliber guy by any means, but if they'd let him keep his '98 persona and style, he would have been a really solid hand to have around in the mid/uppercard in the late 1990s/early 2000s. He was charismatic, fun, and capable of putting on great matches when necessary.

The one where dlo knocked Terry off the apron and killed her baby. Just fucking awful. His nation stuff was truly great! Late 98 fued with x pac was pretty dope too. Just wish he and a few others were treated better at this time. Billy feuding with shamrock for the ice title somehow ends up in a hardcore title match. And at the time road Dogg who was in the hardcore title scene since late 98 had been given billys place in the IC Title match. It was ass backwards and made no sense. Oh well I still love that era so I can't complain too much. The whole hhh corporation thing should be saved for another day though along with the ministry after may. |
