I agree with all of you to an extent. They really are dropping the ball with this, and its gonna be hard to watch the product without Punk. Its going to be even harder watching if they keep pushing down Bryan, and destroying his momentum while his is the most over any one has ever been since I'd like to say Steve Austin. Which they dropped the ball with him completely. I just can't stand guys like Batista coming back because they have failed elsewhere to be accepted with a golden ticket to the main event of Mania. Brock too. He does well, and is entertaining. But he is just like The Rock and Batista. Its awful what has happened to the E. I hope it turns out well for Bryan, and Punk isn't really leaving. But if Bryan wins the belt, expect him to drop it to another part timer.

Bobby Lashley will be the next to return and win the belt.
We somehow need a brand split. I fucking hate the Raw super show idea. The joint ppvs are good but my lord do we need a brand split because we see the same guys on both shows and it's fucking horrible.

So here I guess is all we know of this (Credit WrestlingAttitude.com EDIT: also Wrestling Observer, PWInsider.com as well):
Word has come out that CM Punk has left WWE, according to sources for the Wrestling Observer and PWInsider.
After being re-written out of the script for Raw, Punk reportedly told Vince McMahon he was going home and that he wasn't coming back. The company responded by pulling him from all of his scheduled WWE dates going forward.
Punk was scheduled to face Triple H at WrestleMania 30, but as we saw on Raw, early signs may have been shown that Triple H will be facing Daniel Bryan at Mania instead. No word if the match change is what caused Punk to leave, or if the match was changed because Punk left. ProWrestling.net reports that Bryan VS HHH is, indeed, the current plan for Mania.
In the past, Punk had been very vocal about "part-time" wrestlers returning to WWE and getting pushed ahead of guys who are there on a nightly basis, and that may be a reason for him being upset. PWInsider says that Punk's final goal for his time with WWE was to main event WrestleMania, and with his current contract expiring in July, and with it becoming more and more apparent that he would not be main eventing Mania this year, his failure to achieve that goal may be a driving force for his departure.
All signs indicate that this is not a work, but we'll pass on any more information as it comes in.
THEY WERE GOING TO HAVE HIM FACE KANE. FUCKING KANE.

He's not being advertised for any WWE Events forth coming. It wasn't only Raw and SmackDown he was removed from. www.wrestlenewz.com/wwe-news/backstage-update-on-cm-punks-wwe-status-wrestlemania-plans-change-his-demeanor-more/That source says he told Vince he was going home and wouldn't be back. He's also said many times that he's felt burnt out and in a recent interview he kind of dodged a question of "Will you re-sign with WWE when your contract is up in July?" and said "I don't know." And plans were to do HHH vs. Punk at WrestleMania but it wouldn't be the main event. Which is another reason he left, he wouldn't main event this year and he realized it might never happen. I feel bad for Punk, he's one of the hardest working guys in the locker room and since 2011 (which I'd probably say is when WWE started bringing in "part-time wrestlers") he's had take a backseat to Rock, Lesnar, Batista etc. Sure, he held the title for 434 days. But then he loses to The fucking Rock only for Rock to lose after 2 months. For they should have just had Punk vs. Cena at 'Mania 29 for the Title. When they give guys like Rock the title, it's for PPV Buys and Media Attention. Sorry, got a little off topic there. Point is, they've once again dropped a ball with a huge star, just like what they did to Austin. If you watch Raw or SD! Or a PPV, you can always kind of the frustration in his face when he walks out and that's not always because he's in character. I don't know how to react, I'm a huge Punk mark so I don't know. I'm on his side but that's not because I'm a mark. It's because someone like that who puts 110% effort all the time into doing what they love just gets robbed (if I can put it that way?). Edit: The only real person that's worth watching on WWE Television now is Daniel Bryan. And if they let him walk out just like Punk, we might have to wait until Ziggler or Cesaro are given a push (which is unlikely) or were gonna have to wait until the guys from NXT come up. It's a shame.

The funny thing is that now WWE is working towards Bryan vs. HHH at 'Mania but I was also very very slowly working towards that for XWE, eek.

If we loosely bring these 2 quotes to 2014: 1. Punk has no Wrestlemania match/buildup yet, a mere 2 months away. (Last years was sad as well) 2. Batista hasn't been seen or heard from, in the WWE, in 4 years, comes back, wins the Rumble & goes on to main event WM for the title. Batista. The true definition of a B-player. Meanwhile Punk has been here for ~9 years straight? And has yet to have his Wrestlemania main event. (Yes he held the title for over 400 days. 150-200 of which were to keep it warm for The Rock.)
3 years ago, he 'shocked' the WWE by saying what he said, because it needed to be said, because something had to be done, something had to change.
Only for Triple H to step in and everything to remain the same.
Punk has every right to walk out, and for his sake, I hope he included a get-out-from-under-my-contract-early-if-fucked-with-clause, when he re-signed 3 years ago.
"Vince McMahon is going to make money despite himself. He’s a millionaire who should be a billionaire."
Part of this is just depressing as hell. Whether you want to argue about it or not--Bryan and spoiler in the main event at the EC for the WWE title along with Ambrose and Rollins being a part of the hottest stable of the last 10 years is a direct result of that infamous pipebomb, IMO. CM Punk's influence goes a long way. If he is truly gone, it's a dark day for the WWE but his legacy is undeniable.

The only good we can get out of this is if this is indeed all 100% true, HOPEFULLY we can see him come back to ROH for a little bit like Hero and Styles. I doubt it, but a man can only imagine right?

If Punk truly has left, WWE is fucked. He is every IWC members sweetheart, and the SCSA of this era. Can you imagine if Vince released SCSA in about 1999? That's exactly what this is like.

Not exactly. It would be if Punk was released in 2011-Early 2013 because that's when he was truly at the top just like Stone Cold. This is just as comparable to the 2002 situation between Austin and WWE where he left the same reason that Punk has, because he wasn't being used correctly and was just generally unhappy. Eh, I arguably believe that Punk saved WWE from going down the toilet in 2011, if it wasn't for the pipebomb who knows what these last 3 years would have been like for WWE.
