Spicy reviews: PWG TEN
Candice LeRae, B-Boy and Willie Mack vs Joey Ryan, Peter Avalon and Ryan Taylor (***1/4)
This was a fine opening 6 man match. There were some funny spots in there, like the triple tree of woe, and Taylor punching a fan (who later turned out to be Scott Lost) in the face. Very fun.
Brian Cage vs Anthony Nese (**3/4)
This was Nese's debut for PWG and it was an ok match. This was around about the time that Cage started to decline in the ring and Anthony took him to an alright match. The highlight of it all was Excalibur saying "Do you think his [Nese's] rival in high school was called "James Nephew"?".
RockNES Monsters vs Forever Hooligans (***)
Fun tag team match. It started to drag around about the middle but for the large part it was a good match. The Monster's heel work was on point and Kozlov's dive to the outside was absolutely insane.
Michael Elgin vs AR Fox (***3/4)
All I have to say is.. wow. I didn't expect all that much from this match going into it but it was actually pretty damn good. Elgin worked well with Fox and there were some insane spots. Fox's 450 splash was really crisp looking and this was probably my favourite Michael Elgin match besides his match against Davey Richards at ROH Showdown In The Sun 2012 and Tomohiro Ishii from this year's G1.
Chuck Taylor and Johnny Gargano vs Paul London and Brian Kendrick (***1/2)
Just the right balance of wrestling and comedy. The match started off with Gargano and Kendrick locking up on top of the shoulders of Taylor and London, respectively. A lot of funny moments in this match and I enjoyed it a lot.
Kyle O'Reilly vs TJ Perkins (****)
Really good technical match. This was when O'Reilly was starting to get really great and TJ was just the right opponent for him at this time. I adore technical wrestling and this match was a great display of it. Awesome stuff.
PWG Championship - Adam Cole vs Drake Younger vs Kevin Steen - Guerrilla Warfare (****)
This match was nuts from start to finish and I loved it. So many insane spots. From Cole sitting on the chair and it breaking, to Younger charging at Cole with a traffic cone, to that nasty as fuck bump to the outside from Steen to Cole, I was on the edge of my seat for this whole match. Insanity.
Dojo Bros (Eddie Edwards and Roderick Strong) vs The Inner City Machine Guns (Ricochet and Rich Swann) vs The Young Bucks (Matt Jackson and Nick Jackson) - Ladder Match (****1/4)
This match was absolute madness from bell to bell. I lost count of the amount of times I said "OH MY GOD". So many crazy, exciting, sometimes sickening spots that I couldn't help but fall in love with this match. Spotfest? Yes. Ridiculously fun? You bet.
Overall - 8.5/10
Really fun show that I'd recommend checking out.

So sad to hear about Ultra Mantis retiring. Thank you UMB for all the memories and great matches.

Really fun show that I'd recommend checking out.Pretty good show from what I remember, however, I did find this pretty underwhelming. I didn't seem to like the Ladder Match as much as you did (***1/2) which was probably because I was comparing it to the Ladder Match the year before, which was mental. I have Kyle/TJP as my MOTN at **** with the rest of the card being consistently solid!

Timothy Thatcher is my favourite on the indies. Other than maybe Sabre and a couple of others, nobody can hold a candle to him technically. Fantastic worker.

I haven't been watching a whole lot of wrestling other than the WWE but Biff Busick has become a favorite of mine. Kinda funny to see my list of favorite guys from a few months ago compared to now just because I totally haven't really kept up with any indy guys other than a handful that I've already been fans of.

Just finished off DDT4 and Mystery Vortex.
DDT4 sucked IMO, especially the 3 way world title match was super weak. Loved Mystery Vortex though. Monster Mafia vs Joey and Candice, Speedball vs Roddy, Zack vs Hero and Leverett vs Young Bucks were all freaking awesome. The whole Mount Rushmore 2.0 thing was done so well too, loved it.
BTW, that they charge 19,99$ for the final stage of BOLA kinda pisses me off.
