I agree with every word you said about Cena. One of the things that worries me is that Sting will put over John just like Flair, Hogan, Triple H, etc have. And fuck, it was such a let down that they didn't use his 1997 theme. I'm happy for Sting but let's be honest, his best matches have come and gone. It was all just very underwhelming. And another thing, Sting is a guy that drops from the rafters and once dropped down from a helicopter and you just have him walk right down there? Weak.
After the show it seems people are getting some signal that the WWE is going to be awesome and I really hope that's true but I highly, HIGHLY doubt it. After Summerslam when Brock destroyed Cena they went right back to the same old boring shit for the most part. As long as Cena is around no change will happen.

I'm sorry and don't want to start a argument or a riot, but I think Sting is a sell out. I watched him in WCW in 97 and he was my first favorite wrestler. My opinion is that he can make better money and be a better star in WWE so that's what he did. Yes it's better for him but at the same time, what is WWE going to do to him? I think they will run his character into the ground. Him and Cena makes me even madder. Cena (once again my opinion) is every bit of what's wrong in the sport of professional wrestling. He's a steroid, superman, cartoon character. I have not seen the video from last night just going on what I've read. I as a fan (my opinion.. again) think this was a bad move and a sell out decisions by Sting. Not like my opinion matters just kinda wanted to vent some anger over this. By the way if anybody is unclear what a Sell out is, I have the definition of it if you would like for me to post it. i'd rather have him in WWE then the sinking piece of driftwood that is TNA...in fact at this point TNA has less ideas for sting then WWE does. And let's be completely honest here, if Sting in WWE continues like it has now (don't know where him and cena came from, Cena got eliminated long before he came in, and Cena didn't have any interactions with him), it'll already be better then TNA's use of him these last few years where they had joker sting, and commissioner sting. If this was 2001, then I can understand being a little worried about how they'll use him. Sting's obviously not gonna be an active wrestler, he's 55 years old for gods sake. At this point, he'll either have one final match at the big one (hopefully HHH...the only way him vs taker could work at this point is if it was a geritol on a pole match), or become general manager of Raw or something. Maybe he'll surprise everyone and feud with Bray, that could be interesting, plus if Sting plans on ending his career soon, he could put Bray over and maybe elevate Bray back to the position he was in before.

Completely fair enough. I think my biggest problem is what Trademark said that Sting will job to Cena... I hope and pray that doesn't happen. It would be cool if Sting did get a big match at WrestleMaina before he leaves. I honestly would watch if it was a Undertaker match. I haven't watched WWE since 08-09 and that would get me to watch it again lol. I watch TNA like twice a month to see a Low-Ki match so I don't understand the "sinking piece of driftwood" part. Anyway Sting/Taker would be awesome, Sting/H would be pretty cool as well I have to admit. Once again though I hope and pray with everything I got that Sting doesn't job, lose, or anything like that to Cena.

I get you man, but what I really meant was Sting verbally putting Cena over like so many great legends have. Take this segment for example. Hogan pretty much bought a lifetime supply of chapstick because he was all over Cena's dick. I don't want to see Sting fall to this.

I can definitely see it happen at one point if WWE decides to put Sting in the general manager role, not sure about what they're gonna do at all though. maybe tomorrow's raw will clear it up..maybe

Really wish that the match didn't have that stip. they could've built it up to where sting only appeared when the authority tried cheating. That way Sting never once wrestles at least until Wrestlemania 31. I'm not saying Sting vs HHH at mania would be awesome but it sure as fuck would sell tickets.
Flashback to 2002. Hogan vs Rock was booked pretty weak with just a months build up. Everyone thought hogans best matches were years behind him but just the atmosphere made the match so special. The staredown and them looking at the crowd will always be something I get chills at. Not the best match but the emotion was there. I liked the way sting debuted and I admit I never wanted him to be in WWE but he's the fucking icon for Christ sakes. I can take HHH vs Sting but I will not except Taker vs Sting. Even though its a dream match I just think neither could carry the match.
Rollins and Ziggler last night.... Money. I was marking out so much at the ending moments. Just really well done and hopefully it see's that Dolph gets a US title run......
Dolph vs Rollins ladder match at TLC. Give me it right now.

That match went all over honestly. Totally not expecting Henry getting knocked out right away. Then, Big Show knocked Cena out, which was followed up by some amazing wrestling by Ziggler and Rollins, and then Sting came out. Awesome match IMO. I understand a lot of people didn't like it and I see why, but to me, it was just fucking awesome.

Finally got around to watching Survivor Series today. Loved the main event. It would've been so much better if I wasn't expecting Sting at the end, but it was still awesome to see. Looks like we're getting Sting vs HHH at Mania, which is perfectly fine with me. What I loved most though about the whole match was how much love they gave Ziggler. I fully expected Cena to stick through to the end, but the fact that it was Ziggler who pulled off the 1v3 at the end made it that much better. The last few minutes with Rollins were fucking gold.
