#BadCompanyTwoMasterRace It was good, but not as good as three. The vanilla maps had about two good maps and the expansion pack was decent at best.

Noshar Canals (the best), Metro, Firestorm, Kharg Island, Seine Crossing and Damavand Peak are better than any of the BF4 maps. Too many "look at this building falling" maps or big open areas with no sense of cohesion or flow. Floodzone and Locker are good maps to be fair, but they just don't compare. I honestly can't think of a bad BF3 map. They were all good. When you're trying to make maps that cater to a bunch of different game modes that's when things get messed up. I can play End Game all day as those 4 maps never get old. The BF4 maps have more detail but the BF3 maps had better layouts. At least the vehicle heavy maps. C'mon, Lancang Dam is a joke of a map. I miss bases being covered by terrain and the large airspaces. Also, they need to bring back urban maps of the likes of Seine and Bazar cause right now the only urban maps high skyscrapers on which you are either at the bottom or at the top. Very few parts have more than one level Paracel Storm, which honestly is my favorite map in BF4 I would take over any of the BF3 maps and I'm not even lying. Close Quarters was only worth it for the guns cause the maps were really bad and I absolutley hated Damavand peak, that's no secret. Also, I like lancang dam. It's just opinions I guess. They really pushed levelution (which let me down quite a bit) and skipped out on basic map design. I think that the dev's were more hipped about the whole levolution shit that they didn't care about the game play in BF4 maps. BF4 maps are atrocious! (unless you are a vehicle lover and/or roof camping sniper) Nearly every single map is catered towards campy playstyles. There's no good infantry focused maps with limited vehicles (a la Seine or Bazaar from BF3). I couldn't care less about levolution... I'd rather have solid maps than levolution.

Levolution is what separated this BF from others. They can't just keep making an FPS with the exact same stuff every other year. It would be what ruins the series. I don't feel they are pushing it. Pushing it would be forcing things like the building to fall so people can see it. All maps aside from a few (like paracel storms rain) are optional. Far from pushing it.

BF3, for all the reasons you described. BF4 doesnt feel like battlefield, or at leasat it feels like a really dumbed down version of it. The maps are linear and prevent strategy, the vehicles are nerfed to give infantry an edge, and everything feels... Controlled. Like they are tying to artificially replicate the feeling you got while playing earlier games in the series, but it doesn't feel the same. The deal breaker for myself that would push myself to lean towards BF3 is the fact that we all know how important teamwork is in this game, yet there is no pre-game squad/party option. It's really decreasing a lot of enjoyment from the game. I honestly probably put maybe 1/4 the time I did into BF3 at this point, 100% due to the fact that I can't get into servers w/ friends and vice versa. Not having that is an atrocity in my opinion. They preach teamwork. We preach teamwork. It's the best weapon, yet the best weapon can't even be deployed like it has in all FPS type games since the beginning of time. I think it might be petition time. AND, we can't even customize our loudouts in the menu!

They tried to hard to beat COD it plagued the game. They even admitted to rushing it out 2 months early so they could put it out before MW3. Why? I agreed with you multiple times that the party system needs to be implemented back. Everyone in the community is on about it. I'm sure they'll put it back in. What I feel you dislike about this game so much is they went back to their roots. BF3 did not play like a Battlefield game, it played like this new blander BF. BF4 is campy, but yeah BF always been about vehicles. Which is why their is some vehicle camping. It does not show signs of going back to the way it was and it does not bother me at all. Also, if you're gonna complain about the menu setups I can complain about that stupid fucking blue filter! GAH

Also, if you're gonna complain about the menu setups I can complain about that stupid fucking blue filter! GAH Here is another example to show why BF4 is missing something and is mostly wrong (besides crashes). Where are the maps like Seine crossing with just 2 tanks per map? Where is Grand Bazaar with 2 APC's? Those maps were balanced. Just because it is an infantry map it does NOT mean it has to have CHOKE points on it. Like Metro. Bazaar and Seine was infantry focused but allowed for better combat. This game has WAY too much focus on vehicles. All maps have a ton of tanks and vehicles. It's like you can't move without an AA killing infantry or the Arty. Or a tank rolls up on your ass. How about that APC over there. ALL ON THE SAME MAP. Zavod 311 is a small map. Yet it still has 2 tanks, 2 APC and AA and even an Arty. Not to mention the scout little birds. I get that this is Battlefield but balance the game. Make a few large maps that is vehicles orientated and a few more like Seine crossing. Why do DICE insist on idiotic spam fest choke point maps as THAT is suppose to be infantry maps? Now comes China Rising and it is even WORSE. Huge maps all designed for vehicles. 13 tanks on one map. one with just jets, all open as hell. It is a nightmare playing infantry. Either killed by camping snipers or some vehicles. Even in spots designed for CQB infantry fights, tanks and APC can dominate, making infantry hide. I am sick and tired being forced to play a stinger engineer to deal with ONE guy in a little bird with his pals repairing it completely dominating. Gone is the fun of playing objective and actually have one on one fights. 2 of us tried to take it down, team capping a flag all mowed down by ONE little bird. Good littlebird pilots can handle it like it is holding an assault rifle and switch from target to target just as fast. It is beyond stupid. How many times do we not see on servers guys sitting in tanks, APC or little bird and the attack jets going 45-2. That is the definition of imbalance. NOT that they are "better players". A player that is better, is the one that can take out ON FOOT a squad of guys. Now, guys that normally rock a 0.95 KD on Foot, sit with 4.0 KD ratio and dominate cause they have a JOYSTICK and know how to fly etc.

You were not even partial of the big maps in 3 which is fine with me. Maybe some of the DLC's will do it for you. There is an urban infantry map pack coming out. Either way, it's a matter of opinions but if you look at any BF game before the Bad Company series this is how BF was and it's what all the fans wanted. So we can keep throwing our opinions at the wall. Or you can play Domination which is a no vehicle alternative to CQ. Doesn't matter. I see where you're coming from but this disagreement is never gonna end unless I end it now. I prefer BF4 to BF3. There has not been a bad BF game in my eyes, but BF3 is my least favorite and honestly I would not have even played it as long as I did if you and Cody were not there. I'm sure it could be said the same the other way around. BC2 will still always be my favorite. and they are all good games.

I'd rather play the same 5 Last of Us maps than play the BF4 vanilla maps.

Time to play a game of what will come out first: Episode 2 of Telltale's TWD & TWAU or GTA: Online heists.
