So yeah, I got my stack of DVD's yesterday and this was the one I watched first. I will go through it pretty brief and if you want to comment if u watched this show then feel free.
Kevin Steen VS Peter Avalon
Good way to open the show with an improptu match with Dragon being out for this event. It was pretty short but had some decent spots. **1/2
Brian Cage VS Ray Rosas
Was a good match. Rosas looked good at the start and had some nice spots to the outside as well as taking a few big bumps. He botched a second rope 180 DDT which spoilt the match flow a bit and it was a bit kinda chunky in places but still good. **3/4
Candice LeRae VS Joey Ryan
Was one of the weaker matches on the night. Had some good spots and bumps but gees, she almost broke his neck with a spinning DDT. That "botch" kinda spoiled the flow and the match for me. Nothing outrageous happening. **
Scorpio Sky VS TJ Perkins
This was a really good technical match here. Some great moments and subissions as well as counters by both men which was excellent. Maybe could have had some more outrageous bumps ect but overall this was really fun to watch although the crowd didn't seem into it for the whole thing. ***1/4
Super Smash Bros VS The Young Bucks VS The RockNES Monsters
Match of the night. So fast, so well told the story and had a great reaction, great spots. The pace didnt slow down the whole match and the ending sequence really made sense. Young Bucks keep getting better. ****
Kyle O'Riley VS Alex Koslov
I wasn't into this and either was the crowd. There were some good moments but overall I just didnt feel it for this. **1/2
Willie Mack VS Roderick Strong
This was a real good match. Mack just is excellent and so is strong and the crowd was really into most of this although they were digging into Strong for a bit. Match built up really nice to a fast ending sequence which was a good ending. ***1/2
El Generico VS Eddie Edwards VS Kevin Steen
This was a pretty good main event here. Like how Steen added himself to the match which was cool to see and it made it even more entertaining. Edwards looked pretty good throughout, he had a few slips here and there but had some great spots throughout. Steen and Generico's rivalry really came through here and they played of it well. The math ending kinda came out of no where with not as great a build to the ending, but overall nice to see Steen win. ***3/4
Overall, a good show, but not as good as the other 2 I have watched so far. Still a really solid show and I would give it 7.3/10 for this show.
Thoughts.
