I'm trying to switch elite 20 cm punk knee pads so he can kneel and do the GTS better. But when taking off the boots, I notice the knee bends, and I think that I will end up ripping the knee off or making it super loose. Anyone got tips? Please help

Put it in really hot water and let it sit for a bit. Just the area you need to take off (AKA The boot joint) it will be a lot easier to take off that way.
