The WWE Champion injured his right Achilles tendon while battling Ryback. The injury raises questions about the scheduled match between Cena and Ryback at Extreme Rules on May 19. What lies ahead for the Cenation leader? Does this put Ryback one step closer to capturing the WWE Title? There are no details yet about Cena's expected recovery time. Some guy on Facebook has a brilliant idea:
"Cena comes out, declares himself injured and gives the belt back to Vince. Shield music hits and they come down, beat Vince and take the title hostage. Then, we have no champion for a few months. Vince then brings in mercenaries to try and take the title back."

If this isn't a work, then Ryback is a fucking dope. He injured Punk and Cena. WWE is going to become very different for the upcoming months...

We could have something really creative and gripping, but no, we will probably see a dragged out, 10 minute in ring segment where Cena says he will have to leave for a year and is giving Ryback the title due to him being no.1 contender. Ryback comes to the ring, takes the title and leaves. WWE "Creative" team.
