Well my DVD came in the mail today, so I watched the first few matches, and thought I would type up a review for what I watched so far so I dont go blank.
Paul London vs. Kevin Steen
This was a really decent opener I felt here. I liked how London was in and out of the ring throughout going backstage to get his dueling stuff. The match probs went on a bit to long for an opener. Liked the test of strength at the start with the shoulder tackle to London. Ending was pretty cool. I was expecting Steen to get up and stop the SSP. SSP to the back and some great impact. Good Opener. ***
Johnny Gargano and Chuck Taylor vs. The Young Bucks
I liked this match alot. Haven't seen much Gargano, but wow, I wanna see more now. He was terrific. Liked how they built up to the hot tag the whole match for Taylor to come in. One of the bucks almost broke Taylors neck with a flying DDT to the apron. That looked sore to me. Loved the spear to the outside by Gargano. That double superkick looked so sick. Glad Bucks won here. ****
Eddie Edwards vs. Jay Lethal
This is a match I had wanted to see for a while, tbh, surprised ROH has never booked it. Edwards never fails to impress me in the ring. This match was so much fun, back and forth and had some tremendous technical and high paced wrestling. The match went on a bit to long for me, but still great. ***3/4
AR Fox and Samuray Del Sol vs. Inner City Machine Guns
This was so good. Like wow. Some of what these guys can do in the ring blows my mind. Del Sol is so fluid, especially during the handspring backflip over Ricochet. Ricochet again just blows me away with his ability, every match I see him in he does something new. It was like a jumping twisiting turning step up huricanrana this time that blew me Escalibars comment made me laugh after doing their flips, "I will never wrestle again." Crowd was so hot for this match. Swanns dropkicks are so gawd damn smooth The SSP into the corner was sweet, sorry if I am just rambling on but this match was great. ****
Still to Watch
Roderick Strong vs. Trent
Future Shock vs. The Unbreakable F'N Machines
Sami Callihan vs. Drake Younger
