Really haven't enjoyed Michael Elgin much at all lately. Since 2012 for me...but perhaps that's due to opponents...

Really haven't enjoyed Michael Elgin much at all lately. Since 2012 for me...but perhaps that's due to opponents... Since mid 2014 for me. He just added a bunch of moves to his move set every match it just became too much. I miss the powerhouse Elgin from 2012/2013. His fued with Cole didn't help much either as I thought it was one of the worst. It just wasn't the right timing at all for Elgin to win the belt. He should've been the one who won the tournament and then lost it to Cole at final battle then chased him for the belt. It would've been much more enjoyable than what we got. I do however enjoy his tag match in PWG With Brian cage. But the same can also be said about cage. The dude is a brick shit house and is doing cruiser weight moves. Sure it's OK in instances like a moonsault but please don't do a 619 or any of that stuff. Also to answer your question Top 5 NJPW guys 1. Shinsuke Nakamura 2. Nakamura Shinsuke 3. Shinsuke 4. Nakamura 5. AJ St.. Shinsuke Nakamura

Day 2 of G1 wasn't that good tbh....Okada/Elgin however was a GOOD match and I'd recommend checking that one out and I decided to give it ***1/2 which was the best match on the show IMO. Day 2 felt more like a house show though.

I heard Yano vs Styles was good, Shibata vs Naito was good, and someone also said Doc Gallows vs IBUSHI was good but I'm not sure about that. They said Yano vs Styles was a fun match so I'll be checking it out.

Sounds like a rock solid show to me...

I'm revisiting the 2013 G1, this time on Blu-Ray.
Only three matches in on day one and it's fantastic.

I'd highly recommend Day 7 of G1 (Today's event) for it was the best overall and had the best match of the Tournament so far with Shibata/Ibushi which was AMAZING and freakin BRUTAL!!!
