You'll need:
Boiling water
Bowl
X-Acto knife
Flathead screwdriver
Figures
Directions:
Boil your water.
Pour water into a bowl big enough for a figure.
Put the figure in the bowl, and let it soak in there for a good 5-10 minutes.
Take the figure out.
Pop off the head and arms.
Along the seam at the top of the neck, make a small incision (you'll hear a small cracking sound, this is normal) and slowly (and carefully) begin to slice down the neck and shoulder until you reach the arm socket.
Take your flathead screwdriver, and put it in between the shoulder and arm ball.
Push against the back of the figure with the screwdriver until you can feel the arm ball getting loose.
Do the same with the chest of the figure. The ball should fall out of the body.
If you feel you're forcing the crack too much, let it soak in the boiling water for a while again.
Repeat this on the other side of the figure.
Once you're at the bottom of the shoulder, slice downwards until you reach the waist. Repeat on the other side.
Now, take your flathead screwdriver, and place it in between the front and back of the torso. Now push against one of the sides with your screwdriver until you begin to see a gap appearing.
Again, if you feel like you're forcing it, put it back in the water.
Repeat on the other side.
The torso should be split.
