I wrote some bios for XHW guys a few months ago and figured this would be the place to upload them. Here is Xotic's. The rest will be uploaded in the comments.
Brian David Kennedy was born on August 21, 1987 in Columbus, Ohio. He loved pro wrestling since he was very young. He started training at age 16. He debuted in October 2004 as BD Slave for Ohio Wrestling Federation. His gimmick was one of the five henchmen of the local wrestling company’s commissioner, Harold Mills. The group, Mills’ Marksmen, dressed in long white robes and wrestled in white half masks covering their lower face. He was usually involved in jumping the top faces in the company before big matches. He wrestled with other members of the Marksmen in six man tag matches. Most of the matches they had ended with BD getting pinned since he was the least experienced and smallest in the group. During the opening of a show in the summer of 2005, Mills was talking about his plan while BD cut off Mills and removed his mask. BD told Mills he was getting tired of being part of a plan that never works and that he wanted to be his own man. The remaining four members of the Marksmen jumped BD, leaving him beaten down and bloodied in the ring. Later on in the show, he came out, wearing his bloodied white robe, calling out any of the Marksmen to a match. They all came out and defeated him in a handicap match. At the next show, the new Brian Davidson, wearing black and gold shorts with black boots and black taped fists, called out a crusade against Mills. He began to fight off the Marksmen again but this time was joined by the faces of the company. The faces, who he used to jump, now respected him for standing up to Mills. After forcing the Marksmen to disband by beating them, Davidson seemed to be the next breakout star. Mills left the company and Davidson started competing with cruiserweights for the next year. He held the OWF Cruiserweight title for seven months and the OWF Tag Team titles twice with Frank Garner, a former partner from the Marksmen. He began dabbling into hardcore wrestling towards the beginning of 2007. He competed in several TLC matches that ended up with him bleeding. Davidson was wrestling in several states now in hardcore matches. Davidson wrestled Jason Enhax in his first deathmatch. Enhax was competing in deathmatches for a bit at the time. The match type was light tubes and mouse traps. Enhax pinned Davidson after a powerbomb into the light tubes. He changed his ring name to Xotic shortly after his transition to deathmatches and changed his attire to what many recognize now; the black and silver baggy pants, white taped fists, and either the X ring jacket or an Xotic t-shirt. He competed in XHW since 2008 and won the 2009 KOTKS tournament. Xotic was becoming the top dog in XHW until its closure. He never won the main title but was intended to. After XHW, Xotic wrestled for several top indy companies. Crowds around the world loved seeing “The Man Who Fooled Gravity”. Xotic still competed in deathmatches and feuded with Andy (EHW ECW) in several brutal deathmatches including ultraviolent ladders, ultraviolent panes of glass, ultraviolent TLC, and many more. Xotic wrestled High School Dropout in a no ropes chain, fork kneepads deathmatch at a show featuring many other XHW talents. He signed with New England Wrestling Alliance (NEWA) to wrestle for their national television show in the summer of 2012. At this time, he was consider one of the top 20 wrestlers in the world with different wrestling websites and magazines ranking him #17, #14, #18, and #11. Many indy wrestlers and fans were ecstatic for him to finally make it to the big leagues. NEWA officials wanted to change him to a heel, which was planned during his XHW run anyway. Xotic was hesitant to work heel considering his following and ability to gain the audience’s love. They wanted him to take his charisma and turn it into an obnoxious, arrogant jerk. He was repackaged as “The Idol from Ohio” Brian Kennedy for his debut in September 2012. He changed his attire into black tights with orange and purple logos. For the several months he worked heel, the crowd had trouble getting into his character since they expected his indy persona. The gimmick wasn’t getting over as planned since the crowd began to get fed up with him and didn’t pay much attention to him anymore. Several NEWA faces were getting hit with injuries and the heels outnumbered them almost at a 2:1 ratio. Officials decided it was time for Brian to go back as a face and hopefully regain some popularity. Xotic returned to help Bart Reynolds beat Dex Keller and Weightz for the NEWA Tag Team titles when Reynolds’ partner was injured. They held the titles from March to June of 2013. Xotic was dropped into the dying lightweight division of NEWA in hopes of rebooting it. He competed in several ladder matches and scaffold matches with their big names like luchadores Hector Lopez and Armando Guerrero, spot monkey Nick Neptune, and several others. He won the NEWA Lightweight title in August in an international 12 men gauntlet match. Xotic defended the title successfully until November where he lost to Guerrero in a triple threat also involving “The Gothic Gusher” Hatrid. Xotic was jumped by Hatrid after the match, setting up a feud between the two men. Xotic challenged Hatrid to an unsanctioned deathmatch in December at the first NEWA PPV. The two battled for 17 minutes with barbed wire bats and boards, light tubes, thumbtacks, and salt among other weapons. Xotic won after superplexing Hatrid into a barbed wire board loaded with weapons on the outside of the ring. Many internet fans considered this the show stealer even after a 30 minute ironman match for the NEWA title went to overtime as the main event. Both men were cut up pretty bad and required stitches. Xotic stated that this isn’t the end with Hatrid. The match was considered one of the most violent matches in recent mainstream wrestling.

The Missouri Cheerleader/Mitch Mulligan
Mitchell Maguire was born November 17, 1982 in Springfield, Missouri. He started a backyard wrestling company with his friends in high school. He was very athletic for his size. Maguire started to become friends with local wrestlers and got himself a spot on some shows for Countrywide Wrestling League (CWL). He debuted as Monster Mitch wearing black gloves and jeans. He lost many matches but gained fans for his fast-paced and hard-hitting style. Mitch was used as a bodyguard for Commissioner George Raymond. He dabbled into hardcore matches around 2003. He got a big reaction since he threw stiff punches during slugfests with other wrestlers. In 2005, The Missouri Cheerleader gimmick debuted for a deathmatch tournament in California. He was mocked by fans for the character but he enjoyed the success of showing his skills. Many wrestlers thought the gimmick was stupid and teased him about it. The Missouri Cheerleader fought Ben Arthur in a regular match. Arthur was the main one behind jokes against Maguire’s character. During the match, Arthur made another comment and The Missouri Cheerleader threw several punches and kicks that gave Arthur a concussion. The company banned Maguire from ever competing again for them. Spots of Cheerleader’s deathmatch career include getting Irish whipped into razor wire, getting front suplexed onto razor wire, getting superplexed onto shark teeth, getting pushed into a pizza cutter board, and getting hit with a saw blade chair. He competed for XHW and won their Youtube Title. After they stopped running shows, he kept competing under the Cheerleader name until early 2011. His music changed to Machinehead by Bush and he changed his name to “Machinehead” Mitch Mulligan. Mulligan wore black trunks, black boots, and black wrist tape. In the ring he was considered a bruiser at 6 foot 3 inches tall, 230 pounds. He was still able to move around the ring quickly and occasionally took flight. Mulligan started to get away from deathmatches and worked more strong style matches. He caught the eye of talent scouts for the Freedom Wrestling Corporation (FWC) who held a huge chunk of the professional wrestling market. They signed him in November 2011 and put him in FWC: Kentucky, their second largest market. Mulligan dominated midcard talent for months. Mulligan was ranked by several wrestling outlets as the most improved wrestler of 201 and put him in the top 25 of the world. The crowd loved watching him in the ring. He became FWC Kentucky Region Champion by beating Ripper O’Reilly on April 23, 2012. Many challenged Mulligan but lost to the brute. FWC officials decided that he needed to get him moved to FWC: New York where FWC had its biggest market. On December 11, 2012 Mulligan lost the title in a triple threat to Oscar Huntington who pinned Frank Garner. Mulligan debuted in FWC: New York less than two weeks later. He was used weekly beating jobbers for the next month. Mulligan cracked the top 10 of 2013 for many wrestling outlets that put him #7, #8, #7, and #5 in the world. He challenged Joey Benson to a match in February and beat Benson in a fast paced match that saw Mulligan get a broken nose. On May 8, 2013, Mulligan beat FWC World Champion Vandal in a twenty minute match by way of middle rope piledriver to win his first major pro wrestling world title. He cracked Vandal’s ribs with a kick in the sixth minute and broke Vandal’s nose with a punch around the fifteen minute of the match. Vandal needed help from the ring afterwards but he stated there are no hard feelings about the match. They had a rematch in June where Mulligan retained by his bodyslam/dragon sleeper combo where Vandal tapped out. FWC brought in Frank Garner to fight Mulligan next. Mulligan finished Garner in eight minutes with a lariat. Joey Benson challenged Mulligan to a dog collar match for the title in August. Mulligan beat Benson after sixteen minutes when he choked Benson out with his bodyslam/dragon sleeper combo with the chain around his throat. Mulligan got injured in a title defense against Man-of-War when he picked up Man-of-War and hurt his left bicep. FWC management vacated the title the next night, August 29, 2013, so Mulligan could recover. Mulligan progressed and was sent to FWC: Washington in hopes of helping their lowest of five markets in November 2013. He was attacked by “The Colossal Canadian” Clark Cote. Cote stands in at 6 foot 7 inches tall and weighs 350 plus pounds. Cote has put the fear of himself into the bookers so he controls who gets title shots. Cote has been the main heel of FWC: Washington and has run out many wrestlers from the territory. Cote has held the FWC Washington Region Title since November 3, 2012. Mulligan beat Tom Campbell in three minutes in his debut. Mulligan also beat Dan Gagnon in five minutes. Cote keeps putting obstacles in the way of Mulligan before granting him a title shot. Hopefully the two will clash in 2014.

Andy the Bum
Andrew Norton made his wrestling debut in 1998 in Iowa. At the time of his debut, he was only 18 and was trained by several local wresters. He worked under the name Andy Newton in the Midwest region of the US until 2001. He competed in several hardcore matches in his early years and later adapted the persona that made him famous on the indy scene. Andy the Bum was invited to many companies to work in deathmatches and later became one of the most recognized deathmatch workers in the States. His tough chin and stiff strikes have made him respected in the locker room by his peers. Andy has competed in 23 deathmatch tournaments (14 US, 5 Japan, 3 Mexico, and 1 Canada) throughout his career. His first deathmatch tournament appearance was in a Colorado company in 2001. Andy became a big part of the success of XHW and helped the company gain a cult following. He was showcased in several big matches and was intended to win the 2010 XHW KOTKS tournament. After the closing of XHW, Andy traveled the indy scene for a while but was offered a contract to a big name company based in Virginia. The company, Victory Wrestling Global (VWG), had the intention to bring in a hardcore division and hoped Andy would be the focus of the division. While he was spending four months in their development territory, Louisiana Wrestling League (LWL), he won the US title for a few weeks and had a short feud with Jack Braxton. VWG started to air vignettes for Andy’s debut. After three weeks of vignettes, Andy lost his debut to Ron Johnson in a pretty short match. He lost the next week to Johnson in a street fight that saw Andy go through a table off a ladder. Andy also bleed after getting hit with a steel chair. The next week he beat Matrix in a hardcore match. Andy was used in several backstage segments, where he would be seen in the background going through the garbage and recycling for anything useful to him. Andy was asking the officials throughout his time on the main roster when they planned on bringing in more hardcore talent and when they would have the division ready to go. He offered to try to bring in several deathmatch workers like High School Dropout and Jason Enhax to help the company. Officials constantly played him off and said they will start it very soon. After three weeks of not wrestling, he teamed up with fan favorite jobber Dancin’ Dominick to lose to the Brooklyn Hit Squad in a squash match. The next week, the two lost again but to Matrix and Ron Johnson. Two weeks later, Andy was in a segment where he was seen going through the garbage and recycling containers in an empty locker room. Several female wrestlers walked in and screamed for security. Security, not realizing he worked for the company, took him away and threw him out of the building. Andy later requested his release from the company that week and returned to the indy scene. Not even two full months after his release, Andy was competing in a deathmatch tournament in Japan. Andy has been back to bringing his shopping cart to the ring filled with goodies. He was asked about why it didn’t work in VWG during an interview. He said “I’m not a sports entertainer, I’m a wrestler. Plain and simple.”

High School Dropout
Vinnie Lacoy was born October 11, 1976 in Two Harbors, Minnesota. Lacoy grew up in a very small town and was known as one of the more troubled boys growing up. He got into a cocaine problem when he was only 16. His two younger brothers were able to help get him away from the drug and get his life back on track. Vinnie attended college and got a degree in engineering. Throughout his college days, he began to drink heavily on the weekends. Vinnie knew he didn’t want to go down this road again so he found a local wrestling company and went to their shows on the weekends to keep him entertained. After a few months, he asked some of the wrestlers to train him. Vin Vincible made his debut in late 1998 for Grand Wrestling Arts (GWA). He wore black tights and a white t-shirt. Vin Vincible got the crowd’s attention by constantly jumping off the top rope. In August 2000, Vin was jumped by several heels and decided to “tough up” his act. He said during a promo “I’m not being myself and now you’ll see the real me.” The next show saw his new character, The Violentist, show up wearing a black doctor style coat. The gimmick was of a corrupt, violent, goth scientist/doctor mix. He took it off for his match with John O’Reilly to show his new ring attire of baggy black and white pants and black fingerless gloves. After beating O’Reilly in three minutes, he took a cheese grader to his head. The crowd booed The Violentist. Over the next several years, The Violentist started wrestling deathmatches all over the midwest states. His first deathmatch was against Ron Bronco in a light tube bundles match where Bronco lost. Lacoy grew tired of the gimmick and changed to his High School Dropout moniker in November 2005. This gimmick led to many promos about what was wrong in America, underachieving, corruption in government, psychology, and other things. It was used as irony that the “dropout” knew more than the average man with a diploma. Lacoy had grown his hair out long for the gimmick but after a year or so, it would get caught up in barbed wire so he cut it short. HSD wrestled a deathmatch tournament in Canada in February 2006 that he lost in the finals to Crater in a barbed wire chairs, light tubes, thumbtacks, carpet strip boards, and cinder blocks deathmatch. Crater belly-to-back piledrived HSD into a carpet strip board on top of cinder blocks. HSD would become a well-known participant for deathmatch tournaments. XHW signed HSD and planned on having him feud with Xotic during Xotic’s late heel turn. The feud would have to deal with Vinnie’s real life son, Michael, and have consisted of several brutal match types including fork kneepads. The two had competed in that match type at an XHW type show on the indy scene. Lacoy is currently still using the High School Dropout gimmick and is living in Madison, Wisconsin. He competes for Wrestling of the Great Lakes (WGL). Lacoy has toned down his deathmatch style since 2011’s WGL Aggression Cup Invitational tournament when he won the tournament. He beat nevaR in the first round in a trash cans and light tubes match. The next round he beat Kenny Hardcore in a ladders, ultraviolent bats, bottle caps, and staple gun match that saw him fall off a ladder onto a light tube bat. He received a nasty cut on his back that later required stitches. The final was a no ropes barbed wire, light bulb board, cheese grader corners, and carpet strips ladder match. His back was taped up very much so he could continue the tournament. He beat “Cowboy” Roy McCallister by powerbombing McCallister onto the carpet strips ladder. The cut on HSD’s back required 17 stitches and took him out of action for two months. In January 2012, he beat nevaR in a Christmas Leftovers match (Christmas lights around the ropes, barbed wire pit with Christmas ornaments, Christmas tree, and presents with weapons) by STO’ing nevaR into the Christmas tree. HSD challenged for the WGL Title in April 2012 against Brandon Reynolds but lost after Katy Reynolds threw salt into his eyes and allowed Brandon to get the roll up. HSD beat Reynolds for the title later in September 2012. He lost the title to Ripper O’Reilly (John O’Reilly) on December 30, 2012 when Ripper connected with several stiff elbows to the head of HSD. HSD would lose to “Cowboy” Roy McCallister in a fans bring the weapons match when McCallister DDT’ed HSD onto an Xbox. HSD teamed with Ill Bill to beat McCallister and “Shotgun” Nick Walton in a cage match to win the GWL Tag Team titles in March 2013. They lost the titles to nevaR and Riley Rampage in July 2013. Lacoy admitted to having a drinking problem for the past several years while being on the indy scene and will take time off for rehab. Lacoy hopes to return to the ring sometime in spring of 2014, if he doesn’t retire.

Jason Enhax
Jason Michael Hawk was born April 23, 1981 in Grand Junction, Colorado. Jason was very interested in wrestling due to his father’s and grandfather’s influences. His favorite to watch was the NWO. Jason hoped to one day join them in the ring. Jason was bullied for many years in middle and high school. This took a toll on Jason who said in an interview he had depression and was an emo. Jason started to retaliate and get into many fights. His parents divorced his junior year and he lived with his father. His father took him to a wrestling school when he was 17. Jason was ready for his debut when he was only 18. Jason “The Sensation” Kinnel wore baggy red shorts with a black bandana and black wrist tape. He wrestled for several small indy companies for the next two years. He started to watch deathmatch wrestling and decided to try it himself. At this point he was going under the name Hotty Hawk, a pretty boy deathmatcher who tried to avoid pain as much as possible but always took punishment anyway. The gimmick got him a lot of heat but Jason didn’t like the direction of the gimmick. He changed to Jason Enhax and adapted his emo high school years to his attire. Long black baggy pants and black taped fists. Enhax would cut very depressing promos about life and death, love and hate, and many other topics. Jason fought High School Dropout in August 2004 in a barefoot no ropes barbed wire mouse traps deathmatch which saw HSD win. Enhax began to develop a following after competing in one deathmatch tournament in July 2005 in Florida that saw him fall off a 15 foot ladder into a barbed wire bed of nails. He bled profusely from his right arm and back after the fall. Jason wrestled Andy the Bum in Japan for a tournament in November 2005. It was in the first round and was a barbed wire tables and panes of glass match. Andy won after a Bumsault through a glass pane laying on Jason who was laying on a barbed wire table. Jason won several companies’ deathmatch titles over the next few years. Jason and High School Dropout fought in a light tubes and carpet strips match which HSD won after a powerbomb into a corner of tubes and strips. HSD and Jason became good friends over the years. He joined XHW in 2008 for its debut and changed his attire throughout his run. Jason really made a name for himself in the 2009 KOTKS tournament but lost to Joey Benson in the semifinals. There were reports that Jason was scheduled to win the tournament over the next few years but the company stopped running shows. XHW planned to do a show in 2012 with a big announcement coming from one of their wrestlers. At a wrestling show in Philadelphia, the announcement took place with several XHW wrestlers there. Many rumors were that it was The Missouri Cheerleader announcing he was gay. Jason Enhax took the mic and announced that he was gay. He said that he wanted to come out and hope to gain the respect from his fans. His fans applauded him as did his coworkers in the ring. Jason said that’s why he was probably bullied. They realized he was gay before he realized it. Jason was glad to get support from his friends he knew for years and some never expected him to say that. Jason said that if he friends didn’t want to work with him anymore that he would leave. No one wanted Jason to stop wrestling though. Jason still competes in his aqua camo pants and white wrist tape. The main company he works for is Rocky Mountain Wrestling (RMW) based primarily in Provo, Utah. Jason works regular matches but jumps at any opportunity to work hardcore. Jason wrestled Bubba Jed Noth in February 2011 in a desert deathmatch but lost after getting throw from the top rope onto a cactus and kenzans in Lone Star Wrestling (LSW). Jason beat Aaron Lent for the RMW Openweight title in June 2011. This marked the first time he won a non deathmatch style title for any company. He held the title until October 2011 when 7 of Clubs beat him. Jason had several good chain wrestling matches with lots of talented wrestlers. He teamed with Problem to win the RMW Brothers Titles against Ian Dobson and Robby Hart. They held the titles from January 2012 to July 2012 but lost them when Dobson and Hart won the titles back. They also won the LSW Tag Team Titles from Backwoods Ugly (Cousin Huz and Cousin Dox) in September 2012. They lost the titles when Problem broke his arm during a match with Backwoods Ugly in November 2012. Enhax has wrestled for the new California company Brutal Warfare Wrestling Championship (BWWC). They bring in several big names for each show and Jason has appeared for several events through the year of 2013 for them. He has competed against Shankie in March in a fans bring the weapons match which saw Jason win. He also fought EHW ECW’s Electricity in May in a steel cage TLC match which Electricity won. The next show in June, Jason beat BWWC homegrown talent “Hollywood’s Most Blacklisted” DeMartin Johnson in a street fight. Jason lost in a triple threat elimination cinder blocks, barbed wire bats, and ladders match to BWWC World Champion Kenny Night which also had Quinton Stein in the match in September. Jason still was competing for RMW throughout all this. His next match at BWWC was in November 2013. It was advertised he would fight Japanese deathmatch sensation and former XHW talent, Raguri Makazi in a 30 minute ironman deathmatch. Makazi planned to arrive two days in advance but his flight was delayed several times. BWWC’s second option was their deathmatch rookie Cannon from Pikeville, Kentucky. Makazi’s flight finally happened but wouldn’t arrive until five hours after the show was scheduled to start. Enhax went on to beat Cannon 3 falls to 1 fall. Enhax made sure the crowd gave him a big round of applause for his efforts. BWWC apologized to the crowd that Makazi wasn’t there but they are scheduling him and Enhax for a match sometime in 2014.

Shankie
Frankie Martinez was born on February 11, 1981 in Detroit, Michigan. Frankie had a very poor family growing up and was constantly getting into trouble. He got very interested in pro wrestling when he was 13. He wanted to be one of them. After getting into more trouble with the law, his family moved to southern California and lived in various cities. Frankie started to train to become a wrestler at age 19 and that kept him in check. He made his debut as Machinegun Martinez when he was 20. His gimmick was just a thug Mexican gangster from the streets. Martinez wore street clothes and a red bandana. He used the name until the end of 2004. He was thrown in several stables with other Hispanic wrestlers using the thug gimmick. He changed his name to Shankie started to team with Conviction/Convict 023084/023084 in 2005. They teamed and won several companies’ tag team titles in Cali and even traveled to Florida and Texas to wrestle. Shankie would compete as a singles wrestler and go to Mexico on occasion. He wrestled his first deathmatch in March 2006 in Texas against Bubba Jed Noth. The stipulation was barbed wire bats and thumbtacks. Shankie lost to the Texas deathmatch vet after a Bubba Splash on the tacks. Shankie decided that this was going to be his new calling. He started to work more and more deathmatches in Cali, Texas, Mexico, and Florida. He began to get noticed as one of the upcoming deathmatch workers in the States. He joined XHW for its debut in 2008. He was a hard worker and was willing to take any spot that was suggested. He competed in several KOTKS tournaments. After the closure of XHW, he competed in a Mexican deathmatch tournament in 2011. He beat Tony Gambino (EHW ECW) in the finals in an ultraviolent TLC match to be crowned Deathmatch King. Shankie was gaining momentum and wanted to work as much as possible. In October 2011, he wrestled High School Dropout in a no ropes barbed wire match. Shankie took a bump off a ladder onto a light tube board. Shankie ended up getting a bad cut on his right arm and required 17 stitches. Shankie took a few months off. He returned to compete in another deathmatch tournament in Texas in February 2012. He beat Bubba Jed Noth in the first round in a carpet strips and cacti deathmatch. Shankie was defeated in the second round by Bulldog Adams in a dog collar fans bring the weapons match. Shankie fought Jason Enhax in a barefoot four corners of pain (bucket of thumbtacks, light tubes, barbed wire bat, and bag of legos) deathmatch. This happened in April 2012 and was a brutal match lasting 15 minutes. It ended with Jason beating Shankie by a fireman’s carry driver into the light tubes and legos. Shankie teamed up with Conviction for what many heard would be Conviction’s last match. They defeated two other teams with Conviction getting the pinfall. Shankie has recently become a mainstay in Lone Star Wrestling (LSW) in Texas. LSW is Texas’s main wrestling company and has a small deathmatch division. He won the LSW Deathmatch title on September 21, 2012 by defeating Bulldog Adams in a home run derby match. He lost the title on January 3, 2013 to Mitch Mulligan (The Missouri Cheerleader) in a no ropes barbed wire and cacti corners match also involving EHW ECW’s Mario. Shankie took the next several months off to get married and recover from nagging injuries. He came out at a show in June to jump Bulldog Adams. The two fought in July in a light tubes match which saw Adams win. Shankie beat George Dorn in a kenzans and ladders match in September. In November, he beat Dorn in a steel cage and light tubes match which saw Dorn’s back get cut very bad.

Joey Benson
Joseph Paul Barton was born in Brooklyn, New York on February 11, 1979. He played football and wrestled at his high school for all four years. He played linebacker and was a captain for both sports his senior year. Barton decided to try professional wrestling after an injury the last month of his senior year took away his scholarships. Barton debuted for Empire Wrestling in August 1998. Barton used the ring name Joe Mutts. Mutts was used in singles matches and was the average middle card performer. In March 2001, he was took a chair to local legend Johnny Hox. Hox challenged Mutts to a street fight. On April 23, Mutts beat Hox after a Muttsledriver onto a trash can. Mutts challenged Mikey Gee for the Empire Wrestling Junior Title. Gee beat Mutts in an eight minute match when Gee hit a 450 splash. Mutts would start to gain a following and worked his way into more regions. Notably, he wrestled for Maine Wrestling Company (MWC) and won the MWC World Title after beating Shamstone in August 2004. Joe Mutts returned to Empire Wrestling but changed his name just to Benson. Benson was the powerhouse that Joe Mutts held back. Benson took charge in the ring and demolished the entire roster on his way to winning the Empire Wrestling Bluebird Title. He held the title from June 2005 to October 2006. After that, Benson started going by Joey Benson and worked his way into deathmatches. Joey’s first tournament was July 2007 for Violent Ohio Wrestling’s (VOW) Gash Affair 2007. Joey beat Vandal in the first round in a light tube bundles deathmatch after a Benson bomb into the tubes. The second round saw him lose to Andy the Bum, the eventual winner of the tournament, in a shark teeth, barbed wire tables, and scissors deathmatch. Many of the fans called in the best match in the tournament. Benson returned for Gash Affairs 2008 but lost in the first round to Bubba Jed Noth in a pit of light bulbs and thumbtack bat deathmatch. Benson debuted in XHW and had the best match of his career in the 2009 KOTKS finals where he lost to Xotic. The two went for close to 30 minutes. Benson also joined EHW ECW due to the strong relationship between the two companies. Benson was looking to start an “NWO” like group towards the demise of XHW but the gimmick was never given much time. After the fall, Benson joined Freedom Wrestling Corporation: New York. He won the FWC National Tag Team Titles with Jerome Johnson, a former “NWO” partner. Him and Johnson held the titles from May to September of 2010. They held the titles 3 total times in a two year span. Benson started to become recognized as a solid technical wrestler. He went on to compete for the FWC New York Region Title. He beat Man-of-War in April 2012 for the title. He would lose in July to Martin Wilson. Wilson beat Benson again but this time in a steel cage match. He challenged for the FWC World Title when Randy “Mercy” Manning was champion. Manning beat Benson in a fifteen minute match. 2013 saw a decline in action for Benson. He was keeping in great shape and waited for a storyline. FWC management decided to put him against the younger talent in the New York area in hopes to improve them and help get them over. Benson was used in several tag matches with the younger talent. He was an onscreen mentor to five wrestlers that all begged for his attention causing problems with the wrestlers. Two of the wrestlers were released due to a cocaine bust. The other three fought each other but sometime around June, Benson attacked all three of them. Ethanico, Rick Lewiston, and Buck Larson decided to get revenge of Benson. After several attacks, Jerome Johnson made the save. The two took care of the three rookies in multiple matches. When Joey thanked Jerome in September, he said he was going for singles gold. Jerome speared Joey and said “so was I.” Johnson beat Benson the next month in a contender’s match for the FWC New York Region Title. Johnson lost his title match. Benson was willing to help Johnson make himself better. Benson and Johnson will have an interesting 2014 in FWC.

Tekilla Clown, may or may not debut
Bradley Morgan was born in Natick, Massachusetts on March 23, 1973. Brad grew up as a bigger boy than most and loved football. In high school, he was 6 foot 3 inches tall and weighed roughly 300 pounds. He was on the football team as a left guard and defensive end. At the end of his high school career, his team never made it to any state championships but Brad was a towering 6’5” and 340 pounds. Brad got a scholarship to play for Bridgewater State University to play as a left guard. His freshman year saw little playing time due to a senior who played the same position but his sophomore year saw him start each game. Brad was struggling with his grades junior year and was injured in game after tripping over two fallen players. Brad’s knee and ankle would force him to sit the rest of the season. Bridgewater officials would decide to drop Brad of his scholarship when his return looked unlikely for the next season. Brad decided to start training pro wrestling after realizing he couldn’t afford to finish his schooling. In September of 1995, Bruiser Bentley debuted. He worked squash matches for a few months but the gimmick didn’t do much. He paired with several heels to work as their bodyguard but nothing captured the audience’s attention. Brad paid attention to deathmatches and started to become interested in participating. Bruiser Bentley took part in his first deathmatch in May 1997 against Diojik in a barbed wire tables match which Diojik won. Deciding to go a new direction, he debuted in July 1997 as One Brad Clown. A colorful, joking clown who competing in deathmatches. OBC would prank his opponents and the crowd whenever possible. He normally had white facepaint with a red nose and green cheeks. He wore big polka dot red and yellow pants with a green, orange and blue shirt with white suspenders. The gimmick was quite laughable to many fans and found it entertaining. OBC still worked deathmatches but added comedy into many of his matches. On April 9, 1998, OBC got jumped by several heel wrestlers at a American Wrestling World(AWW) in Massachusetts and was left distraught. He returned the next week as Tekilla Clown; a gothic clown. He had his hair in a black mohawk, white facepaint with black eyebrows and a red nose. He wore a black shirt, black jacket with red trim, black and white clown pants with black boots with red details, black elbow pads, and black tape around his fist and wrist. Tekilla Clown took out all of the heels who attacked him. His entrance now involved the lights going out and him going through the crowd. This was his big break on the deathmatch scene. A powerhouse clown on the loose that couldn’t get disqualified. On Halloween 1999, he debuted his signature weapon; a broken glass baseball bat. At this point he was only competing in deathmatches. During this time backstage, Marty Donovan had trouble getting over as a high flyer and asked Brad for advice since they went to the same wrestling school. Brad jokingly said become a clown. Marty lit up and wanted to join in on Brad’s gimmick. In December 1999, Tekilla Clown beat Marty Donovan in a mouse traps and barbed wire boards match. After the match, Tekilla continued to beat on him with his bat and then put the bleeding Donovan over his shoulder and brough him to the back. On January 3, 2000 Tekilla Clown’s music hit and was joined by Mister Bingo Giggles, Marty Donovan’s new character. Brown dreadlocks, a goofy little red hat, red suspenders and more gothic clown gear to go along with it. MBG was Tekilla’s right hand man and this gave promoters the idea to extend this clown gimmick. The next to join the clown stable was Trixxie Violence, a beautiful blonde haired girl. She was known as Diamond previously but changed her name. She was a great worker and really was a surprise to people since she seemed fine on her own. The last two additions were Iball(eyeball), a bulky brawler with a flattop, and Dako Dako, the clowns’ muscle with brown spiked hair. The clowns were known as Scared Yet? Productions and usually opened AWW shows. The clowns were the main focus of many indy wrestling promotions and helped bring attention to other stars. Tekilla kept his focus in deathmatches and going after the AWW World Title. In March 2001, Tekilla challenged the champion Hanklin in a carnival corners match (barbed wire board, light tubes, bag of thumbtacks, and staple gun). Hanklin fought off interference from Scared Yet? Productions and retained the title after a superplex onto a barbed wire board. Tekilla challenged Hanklin again on May 13, 2001 in a triple threat elimination deathmatch also including Obstruction. Tekilla eliminated Obstruction with a big splash in the corner then a cobra clutch throw. Tekilla them beat Hanklin after a running big boot then a chokeslam. Tekilla didn’t get any help from his clown family but they did celebrate with him. His reign of terror as champion would last a little over a year. Scared Yet? Productions was becoming bigger and bigger. They stilled opened up shows by going through the crowd, occasionally dragging some poor wrestler by a chain. Tekilla Clown was traveling all over the country for deathmatches. Many region’s big names would go after Tekilla but due to his size, he was very rarely taking many bumps. One of Tekilla’s most notorious matches was in Los Angeles, CA for Defiant Wrestling Superstars (DWS)’s show Morgue Door on February 2, 2003 against Andy the Bum. The match was a no ropes barbed wire, light tube boards, cinder blocks, ladders, and fans bring the weapons affair. The match went on for about 25 minutes and saw some crazy spots. Early on in the match, Andy was thrown off a ladder onto a trash can. Andy retaliated by cutting Tekilla up with a thumbtack pizza cutter. Both men went off a ladder onto a light tube board set up outside the ring. Andy and Tekilla exchanged punches and headbutts for about a minute before both Tekilla went down. Andy got a nasty cut when Tekilla swung his bat at him and hit him in the arm. Tekilla put Andy in a crossface with his bat but Andy hit Tekilla with a hockey stick to escape. The finish saw Tekilla powerbomb Andy into his shopping cart filled with light tubes and other weapons. In early 2004, Dako Dako would get injured and Iball would start to go to Japan to wrestle deathmatches. Trixxie Violence retired in November 2005 after a leg injury. Tekilla would still team with Mister Bingo Giggles occasionally but worked mostly by himself. Tekilla Clown was considered one of the top deathmatchers in the world though and still was booked for many companies. Tekilla has won several deathmatch tournaments throughout his career. Tekilla issued an open challenge to “anyone in the world” on June 11, 2006 for Violent Ohio Wrestling’s show Summer Toxin 06. John Dahmer answered the challenge and stabbed his arm with scissors. They brawled all over the high school gymnasium including under bleachers and into the school hallway. Major spots in the match include Dahmer swinging a water jug bat at Tekilla seven times, Dahmer DDT’ing Tekilla into a bit of light bulbs, Tekilla hitting Dahmer with his broken glass bat in the head, Dahmer putting light bulbs on Tekilla’s head then smashing them with a chair, Tekilla choking Dahmer with a shirt then throwing him into a pile of chairs, and Tekilla chokeslamming Dahmer from the top rope into chairs and a glass pane on the floor. Tekilla would get the win but both men got respect from the crowd and each other. Tekilla took a leave shortly after this to battle his alcohol problems. He would return on December 29, 2006 attacking Dahmer after he beat Jammer in a ladders and bats deathmatch. After the attack, he held up a white sign that said “the Clown iz BACK” with dripping red letters. The next month he beat Orange Bull in a pits of pain match (thumbtacks & salt, light bulbs & mouse traps, broken glass & rubbing alcohol, and barbed wire & Christmas ornaments). Tekilla noticeably lost some weight from his last appearance and seemed a bit quicker in the ring.
