I'm really sorry if this has already been talked about but I need some opinions. I'm wanting to buy a new ring in the next month or so and I don't know which to get. I'm torn between the ring on wrestlingsuperstore.com by Figures Toy Company and the Mattel Authentic Scale. What are the differences between the two? Pro's and con's (if any)? Also are the Jakks RSR ring mats compatible with either of those (size wise)?

The one on wrestlingsuperstore is 21.5 in. and the authentic scale is 22 in. So I would go with authentic but it costs more... I say go for the wrestlingsuperstore one I guess...

The RSR by Figures is made of lesser quality plastic...and isn't constructed as well as the ASR.
On the flipside, the ASR is a lot bigger then it should be. Heck, I'd say the same for the RSR. The RSR by figures is generic, so you could get away with using it without custom anything, without it awkwardly saying WWE.COM and RAW on the side.
Personally, I'd go with the Attitude/Hardcore ring over any of the scale rings, but if it's gotta be a scale ring, then probably the RSR.

Yes wile you are right, I figured this would be a discussion all in it's own (which it kinda has become). So in my opinion (not like my opinion matters) I just simply thought this discussion should have it's own thread or else I would have posted it in the Figure Discussion thread. Anyyywayyyyy, thanks for all the replies guys! Since the RSR ring mats I have now with my logos drawn on, I will probably get the ASR. Might get the other one some day but for the extra 10 bucks and a step up in quality, I might as well get the ASR. Thanks again for the comments. |

I've never understood the idea of there being a discussion thread inside a board that's suppose to be about that thread. Kinda pointless in my opinion, and this thread shouldn't be less viewed than any other "important" threads in this section if you use the "Use the discussion thread maggle" excuse.
On topic, I personally like the WSS one better just for the generic look of it, plus I have always been a fan of the RSR.

My biggest worry is quality. I like the WSS one but I'm worried about the ring posts ending up angling inward and having issues like that faster then normal. Does anybody happen to have the WSS one and can help inform me on if it has those type of uses and how long it takes to get them? |
