Royal Rumble Preview

CM Punk over the past few weeks has got The Shield's number. He had defeated Roman Reigns and Seth Rollins in a 2-on-1 handicap match to earn a shot at Dean's United States Championship. Can CM Punk finally end Dean's reign of terror or will Dean somehow retain his title?

On Smackdown, Big E Langston def. Ted DiBiase and after the match Bray Wyatt attacks Big E and ever since then Bray Wyatt had been playing mind games with Big E and wants a shot at the IC Title. Can Bray Wyatt win his first title or will Big E survive The Eater of Worlds?

The Hardyz had made their return to the WWE and they say that they want to help the tag team division and wants to hold the tag team championship one more time. Since then, they have got numerous victories and at The Royal Rumble, Cody Rhodes and Goldust will defend the tag team titles against The Hardyz.

AJ Lee and Kaitlyn has had one hell of a feud. AJ Lee has won the Divas Title at Payback 2013, and since then they fought a few more times where AJ and Kaitlyn had won some. On Smackdown, Kaitlyn had won a Battle Royal to earn another shot at the title. Then the next week on Smackdown, Sofia Cortez with the help of AJ Lee beat Kaitlyn and after the match, AJ attacks Kaitlyn and pulls out a kendo stick from under the ring and beats Kaitlyn with it. The WWE Boards of Directors had decided to make this match a hardcore match. Can AJ continue her reign as champion or will Kaitlyn finally end AJ's title reign?

On Raw, after the Randy Orton and Kurt Angle match, AJ STYLES comes out and points at Orton's World Heavyweight Title. Since then, AJ Styles has been picking up victories from left and right. Triple H had found AJ Styles very impressive and decides to give him the match against Orton at The Rumble for the World Title. Can Orton be able to keep the World Title and continue as a dual champion or AJ Styles shocks the world and win the World Title?

The Royal Rumble Match is the biggest match in everyone's career. 30 superstars has a shot to win the match and face The World Champion at WrestleMania 30. Some of the superstars in the match are John Cena, Daniel Bryan, Dolph Ziggler, Kurt Angle, RVD, Rey Mysterio, Antonio Cesaro, and Batista. Who will win the Rumble and what title will he go after?

It has been announced that at the Eliminates Chamber, there will 2 ELIMINATION CHAMBER MATCHES. We know that the first two chamber matches are for both the WWE and World Heavyweight Titles.

-This week on NXT, The Addiction, The Wolves, and reDRagon will face over for a chance to face The Ascension at NXT ArRIVAL.

February 23, 2014 |Target Center, Minneapolis, Minnesota World Heavyweight Championship Elimination Chamber Match AJ Styles© vs Kane vs Shelton Benjamin vs Christian vs Chris Jericho vs Dolph Ziggler Ziggler, Styles, Kane, and Christian are in the four pods while Benjamin and Jericho starts off the match. They started off with a good back and forth fight until Christian comes out. Christian and Jericho started to double team Shelton Benjamin. They had did a double suplex to Benjamin on the steel floor. When Dolph get released form the pod, he went straight after Shelton. Dolph hit Benjamin with a superkick and Zig-Zag for the 1, 2, and 3. Eliminated: Shelton Benjamin Christian and Jericho was brawling on the outside. Jericho slammed Christian’s face into the chain wall repeatedly causing Christian to bleed. When Kane comes out the pod, he tried to go after Jericho, but Dolph got on his way. Dolph does a Jumping DDT to Kane on the steel floor and hurt himself and Kane. A blooded Christian enters back to the ring and went for the Spear to Jericho then Jericho countered it into a Codebreaker. He pinned Christian for the 1, 2, and 3. Eliminated: Christian The final pod opens and AJ Styles performs the springboard forearm smash to Jericho. Then Ziggler enters the ring to go after Styles but Styles lays him out a Pele Kick. Styles begins to set up Jericho for the Styles Clash but Jericho counters and backbody drops Styles on the steel floor. Kane gets up and enters the ring. Dolph hits Kane with a superkick and Jericho hits with a Codebreaker for the 3 count. Eliminated: Kane Dolph and Jericho went back and forth, trying hard to eliminate one another. Dolph went for his 3rd superkick in the match but Jericho counters it into a Liontamer. Dolph tries hard not to tap but Jericho tries to further stretch his back. Dolph was about to tap until Styles got back up and does the Stylin’ DDT to Jericho. Then after that, Styles sets up Dolph for the Styles Clash and hits it. AJ pins Dolph for the 3 count. Eliminated: Dolph Ziggler When Styles got up, Jericho went for the Codebreaker but Styles counters and throws him into the turnbuckles. Styles set up for the Bloody Sunday and hits it. AJ goes for the cover and Jericho kicks out. Styles goes outside the ring, getting prepared for the Superman, but Jericho stops him. Jericho tries to suplex him back into the ring, but Styles counters it into a superkick. Then Styles does the Superman for the 3 count. Winner and still World Heavyweight Champion: AJ Styles in 22:36 ***3/4 WWE Divas Championship Match AJ Lee© vs Sofia Cortez AJ Lee and Sofia was a really good competitive match. AJ went on the offensive attack on Sofia and went for the arm of Sofia. Later on the match, Sofia fights back and eventually hits the Desert Eagle on AJ. Sofia pins AJ and she kicks out at 2. At the end, AJ hits Sofia Cortez with the Shining Wizard for the 3 count. Winner: Still Divas Champion AJ Lee in 9:38 ***1/2 WWE United States Championship Match Dean Ambrose© vs Rob Van Dam This match had a good reaction from the fans. Rob Van Dam took control of Dean in the beginning of the match. Both men went back and forth until they both clotheslined each other. Roman came out to help Dean but was taken out by RVD. Rollins comes out to distract the ref and Dean grabs the U.S. Title. He targeted to hit RVD but hit Rollins instead. RVD superkicks Dean and hits the Five Star Frog Splash. RVD pins Dean for the 3 count. Winner: NEW WWE United States Champion Rob Van Dam in 10:12 *** The fans went nuts when RVD won the match. RVD was getting emotional in the ring since this is his first title that he is now holding since returning. Rob gets the U.S. Title and performs his signature pose. The fans cheered for RVD’s big win tonight. The camera cuts to JoJo interviewing Randy Orton about the Chamber Match later on in the night. WWE Intercontinental Championship Match Big E Langston© vs Bray Wyatt with The Wyatt Family This match was stiff and back and forth. Bray controlling Big E in the beginning of the match. The two take the match outside and in the match, Bray throws Big E into the ring steps. Big E starts to come back in the match. Big E sets up Bray for the Big Ending and then Harper and Rowan stands up on the apron causing Bray to counter and hit Big E with a low blow. Bray Wyatt hits Big E with a Sister Abigail and covers him but Big E kicks out at two. Bray positions Big E for the Sister Abigail but he counters it into Big Ending and covers Bray but he also kicks out. Big E becomes frustrated and picks up Bray. Bray counters it into a Sister Abigail and gets the 3 count. Winner: NEW WWE Intercontinental Champion Bray Wyatt in 10:02 ***1/4 The fans shocked and surprised as Bray Wyatt stands before them as the new Intercontinental Champion. WWE Tag Team Championship Match Triple Threat Tag Team Match The Brotherhood© vs The Usos vs The Shield This match was a normal match to the fans. The Usos had done dives on the outside to the Shield and The Brotherhood. All three teams had did their signature tag moves each other. Rollins had Jimmy Uso set up for a Buckle Bomb and hits the Buckle Bomb and Superman Punch tag team move. Jey comes in and superkicks Rollins, then Roman hits Jey with a Spear. Then out of nowhere, Cody rolls up Roman for the 3 count. Winners: Still WWE Tag Team Champions The Brotherhood in 8:21 **3/4 Roman is still in the ring, pissed. Cody and Goldust runs away to the stage with their tag team titles. Then The Hardyz theme song plays, the fans screams and loses your mind. Jeff and Matt Hardy comes out and stares at Cody and Goldust, causing them to run back into the ring. Roman hits Cody and Goldust with a double spear. Jeff and Matt looks for weapons. They pull out a ladder and put it in the ring. They tell Roman to do something. Jeff does his signature leg drop off the ladder to Cody. Roman pulls out a table under the ring and puts it in the ring. He sets it up in the ring and waiting for Goldust to get up. When Goldust got up, Roman spears Goldust through a table. Matt grabs a chair and throws it into the ring. Jeff, Matt, and Roman buried The Brotherhood with Tables, Ladders, and Chairs. WWE WrestleMania 30 Promo The commentary team had announced the first match for WrestleMania 30. The first match announced is a Fatal Four Way Tag Team TLC Match for the WWE Tag Team Championship between The Hardyz, The Shield, The Usos, and the tag champs, The Brotherhood. Royal Rumble Opportunity on the Line CM Punk vs Daniel Bryan This match was an instant classic to say the least. The two started off with technical wrestling. The fans was into the match. The two went stiff and back and forth. They had kicked out of each other’s finishers. Daniel Bryan went for the Running Knee and gets countered into a clothesline. Punk picks up Bryan and positions him up for the GTS but Bryan counters it into a Running Knee. The two men had pinned each other and the ref counted to 3. Winner: This match went to a draw in 28:12 **** WWE Championship Elimination Chamber Match Randy Orton© vs Kurt Angle vs John Cena vs Sheamus vs Cesaro vs Brock Lesnar This match was another excellent match. Brock Lesnar was very dominate in this match, he had eliminated Sheamus and was also busted open by the hands of Kurt Angle. He was stopped by the hands of Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle eliminated Brock with an Olympic Slam. Brock was super pissed to the point that he grabbed a chair and cracked it over the skull of Kurt Angle. Kurt Angle was busted wide open and Cesaro took advantage and eliminated Angle. Cesaro also went to eliminate Cena with a Swiss Death. The fans was rooting for Cesaro to win the title and he had almost beat Orton but he kicked out. At the end of the day, Randy Orton hits Cesaro with a RKO and gets the 3 count. Winner: Still WWE Champion Randy Orton in 26:34 **** After the match, The Chairman of WWE, Vince McMahon comes out and congrats him on his victory and tells Orton that at WrestleMania 30, he will defend his WWE Championship against Daniel Bryan …. AND CM PUNK in a Triple Threat Match. When Vince left, Orton gets pissed, realizing that he will face both Bryan and Punk at WrestleMania. ©2014, World Wrestling Entertainment

The Hardyz had attacked The Brotherhood and buried them with tables, ladders, and chairs. We now that there is a four way tag team TLC match with The Usos and the Shield added. How will the Brotherhood get their revenge on The Hardyz?

AJ Lee has a BIG announcement regarding the Divas Championship that could change the face of the Divas division. What is the big announcement she has?

The NXT Arrival card has been trimmed from 10 matches to 6 matches. The Ohno vs Joe, Kidd/Tatsu vs Londrick, Neville vs Jericho, and Crowe vs Younger matches are going to be on the episode after NXT Arrival.

AJ Styles has successfully defended the World Heavyweight Championship inside the Elimination Chamber. It is now announced that a Gold Rush Tournament has been made to determine the number one contender for the World Title at WrestleMania. The participants as announced are: Dolph Ziggler, Batista, Christian, Chris Jericho, Antonio Cesaro, Justin Gabriel, Sheamus, and Dean Ambrose.

The host of WrestleMania 30 will be announced next week on Raw and also one inductee for the WWE Hall of Fame Class of 2014.

WWE Raw 2/24/14 Resch Center | Green Bay, Wisconsin WHC Gold Rush Quarterfinals Dolph Ziggler vs Antonio Cesaro This match was a really good match to open the show. Dolph had hit a Zig Zag on Cesaro at one point in the match and he kicked out. The match ends when Cesaro hits Ziggler with a Neutralizer. Winner: Antonio Cesaro via Neutralizer in 11:12 WrestleMania 30 is 41 days away Promo WWE United States Championship Match Rob Van Dam© vs Dean Ambrose This match was just like their match from the Elimination Chamber. Dean grounded RVD’s offense throughout the match. RVD got some of his offense in and when he went for the Five Star Frog Splash, Dean held his arms up and counters it to set him up for Dirty Deeds. Dean had Rob set up for Dirty Deeds and then out of nowhere, the lights goes out. When the lights came back on, the ref was down and the Wyatt Family appears. The Intercontinental Champion, Bray Wyatt enters the ring and hits Dean with the Sister Abigail. RVD gets up and hits the Five Star Frog Splash on Dean and covers him for the 3 count. Winner: Still United States Champion Rob Van Dam in 15:34 Singles Match AJ Lee with Tamina Snuka vs Brie Bella with Nikki Bella This match was short. AJ Lee had made quick work of Brie Bella. The match ends with Brie Bella tapping out to the Black Widow submission. Winner: AJ Lee with Tamina Snuka in 3:11 After the match, AJ Lee grabs a microphone. AJ Lee: On Twitter, I tweeted earlier today that I got a major announcement regarding the Divas Championship that will change the Divas division. For 8 months, I had basically beaten every Diva in the locker room when it is either a non-title match or a championship match. (While AJ Lee was talking, Tamina grabs a bag from under the ring.) AJ Lee: Although I had been the greatest Diva’s Champion of all time… (AJ Lee drops the Divas Championship on the ground and pulls out ….. THE WWE WOMEN’S CHAMPIONSHIP) AJ: I want to become the greatest Women’s Champion of all time with the likes of Trish Stratus, Lita, Molly Holly, Victoria, Mickie James, and even Melina. AJ: I am the best women’s wrestler in that locker room and because I am the best. Whoever comes out here will get a shot at the Women’s Championship at WrestleMania. I don’t care if it was a Diva in the back, a Hall of Famer, or any other retro women wrestler. I dare you to come out right now…. That’s what I thought. Then out of nowhere, LITA comes out and the fans went nuts. AJ Lee was shocked to see her role model come out. Lita makes her way to the ring and grabs a microphone. Lita: You want to be the greatest Women’s Champion of all time? AJ, it is not to become the greatest champion of all time. Yes, you are a good women wrestler but you are for damn sure not better than me. So WrestleMania 30, you want a challenger for the Women’s Championship. You have a challenger and her name is LITA. WHC Gold Rush Tournament Quarterfinals Batista vs Chris Jericho This match was a back and forth contest. Jericho had hit the Codebreaker on Batista but he kicked out to two and three-fourths. The match ends with Batista hitting the Batista Bomb on Jericho for the 3 count Winner: Batista in 10:01 The first inductee in the Hall of Fame is …… LITA. Tag Team Match The Hardyz vs Los Matadors Winners: No Contest Backstage, The Brotherhood had beat down The Hardyz. Cody Rhodes had put a chair around the neck of Jeff Hardy and performs a Cross Rhodes. The host of WrestleMania 30 is ..... "STONE COLD" STEVE AUSTIN!!!!!!! Champion vs Champion Match AJ Styles (World Heavyweight Champion) vs Randy Orton (WWE Champion) This match was for sure better than their Rumble match. Although they was broken down from their Chamber matches, they tore down the house. AJ Styles has countered the springboard 450 splash into a RKO but he somehow kicked out at 2. AJ Styles had hit the 1st Styles Clash on Orton and he kicked out. AJ Styles at one point in the match had set up Orton with a Calf Killer and managed to escape it. Then after minutes of straight back and forth shots, AJ Styles managed to hit a 2nd Styles Clash and surprisingly Orton kicks out again. Then AJ try to go for 3rd Styles Clash then Orton covered it, trying to hit a RKO but Styles hits the Pele Kick and then hits the Styles Clash for the 3 count. Winner: AJ Styles via Styles Clash in 22:21
