I rewatched the two main events and god damn I knew I was just too sleepy to pay enough attention. Fucking sick stuff, scrap everything I said about it before. Still can't decide my favorite over the three main events. Good Good. You dont have to pick any over each other, all fucking amazing. |

Holy. Fucking. Shit. The 2 main events were FUCKING crazy. Sheer insanity. Nakamura and Ibushi put on a five star match. I absolutely loved how Ibushi has come into the Heavyweight division so well. That may well be match of the year early.. And as for the main event, what can I say that hasn't already be said? 6 star match. I shit my pants when Tanahashi kicked out of the rainmaker. Just an amazing show overall. Cannot fault a single match. <3

Ok I am a huge fan of Meiyu Tag since the formation of the team last year and was super excited to see them get the Tag Titles and give Shibata his first ever title.

Best Okada vs tanahashi encounter yet!
Overall a fantastic show and it'll be hard to top. Nakamura vs Ibushi is my match of the year so far hands down. I'm not sure if anything will be able to rope that match.

My first full NJPW show I have watched. I really liked it a lot. First tag title match was freaking insane. The two following multi man tag matches were pretty meh. Especially the Bullet Club vs Japan guys match was really bad in my eyes and I don´t know why you would book 3 tag matches in a row. The 4th match had me confused. Were they really fighting each other? I think no, but I was still entertained by it. Makabe vs Ishii was nuts. All these matches are so different from each other which is very cool. Kenny Omega is one crazy dude. Very decent match and I´m glad Omega got the win here. Tag title match was great as well. I loved the AJ match. Styles Clash from the 2nd rope was a great way to end it. Nakamura vs Ibushi... Holy Shit. That was the best match I have ever seen.. So good.. Okada vs Tanahashi is also in the list of my favorite matches ever now. Damn that frog splash to the outside. Pure greatness. But still match of the night must be Nakamura vs Ibushi. I also loved Matt Striker as commentator. Guy seems to know a lot about the business and in my eyes he did a better job than JR.

New Japan book their shows so they open with the Jr. Tag to get off to a hot start, they then build the card up in order of importance, so the 2 multi man tag matches were seen as the least important of the matches to come. ect... |
