When people complain about the language barrier.......
So you can listen to King, Cole, and JBL for three hours while they call dogshit matches but you can't watch an amazing show with emotion from the commentators? I understand you don't know Japanese but who the guck cares? I mark the fuck out when the commentator marks out because its awesome.
New Japan took it to another level while others are content with staying average.

Would've preferred if it was in Japanese. Jim Ross being there was a cool thought, but him and Striker turned me off to listening to the show even. No emotion really and just constant comparisons and name drops. I hope for the second show they cut down on the references to other products a bit. Ex: this is the Wrestlemania of NJPW ex: shades of randy orton

I still have not finished WrestleKingdom 9, but I got to the open weight title match, and I loved what I saw. All the matches I've seen so far were great and I'm glad that it's getting all of this hype or else I wouldn't have checked it out. Really opened me to an all new world of wrestling and I hope I begin to follow NJPW, considering it's being so exposed to the U.S. now.

The next major New Japan Pro Wrestling event is their annual “Invasion Attack” show on April 5th, from the Sumo Hall. According to the Wrestling Observer Newsletter, Jeff Jarrett is once again in talks with the promotion to bring the show to U.S. pay-per-view. Of course, this all depends on how the buyrates for Wrestle Kingdom 9 turned out, and as of right now there is no update on those numbers. Still, it’s enough that the two sides are talking.
If “Invasion Attack” is brought to the U.S., they want both Jim Ross and Matt Striker to return for commentary. However, to save on costs, it’s likely they would record this one in-studio rather than fly them both out to Japan again.
The pros are that domestic recording saves GFW money, and who knows at this point if JR would want to make the long journey to and from Tokyo again so soon. It was reported in late 2014 that one of Ross’ requests upon signing up is that he was at the Tokyo Dome to call Wrestle Kingdom live. The big con is that you definitely lose a lot of the atmosphere and excitement of a commentary team live in the arena, surrounded by thousands of fans.

So, I´m planning to go to see Invasion Attack live in Tokyo. Just need to get tickets. Well that is the hard part, NJPW just replied to my email that tickets are ONLY sold in convenience stores in Japan. Kinda scared to take the trip without tickets and see that the show is sold out..
